SureCatch Stallion

One of the newer models from surecatch

Stallion

They have 3 sizes

3000,5000,8000

and i have got 2 pieces of the 5000size,one of them in original state the other i have modified the clicker,so now when u turn the spool it will have the sound of a dupont lighter and also modified the knob to a surecatch power knob

a lot of you will be wondering why i have so many surecatch reels

are they good?

they are too cheap to be good right since they are so cheap...

well to me i like to thrash reels and my buddies from TEAM AA(http://teamanglingaddict.blogspot.com) namely XENO and BURP and myself knows how to service and repair reels so even after thrashing the reels, servicing and repairs are not an issue.

back to the performance of surecatch reels, cheap doesnt mean no good, its could be just that their materials used are not so light(ya i like reels with a little bit of weight) and their workmanship is not so refined as the bigger names

most importantly,i find that the not so expensive reels after thrashing is not so heartpain, imagine using a SGD500 reel and after a fishing trip,u find scratches and such(though its part and parcel of fishing),heartpain will be there....

as for performance, check out the tackle reviews blog(http://teamaafishingtacklereviews.blogspot.com/) on the reels,if its not there means no reviews done yet
